WordCamp Phoenix 2024 Speaker Announcements — Round 3

Did you know that Bob Ross frequently painted with a squirrel in his shirt pocket? Announcing our third round of speakers for WordCamp 2024 make us almost as happy as that little tidbit of knowledge about Bob Ross and his love of squirrels, and pretty much all animals. It almost makes us want to build our next site with a squirrel in our pocket.

There is so much to learn about from these sessions, from how to speed up your build using AI and the safe way to embrace php, to social media lessons from higher ed, custom block development, the power of seo and how to build more creative websites. Learn more about the sessions and speakers below.

  • Perri Collins

Are you still considered a digital native if you grew up without the internet? Despite spending my formative years in rural Texas with no internet, I have fully embraced the digital era. From coding websites to formulating digital marketing strategies to interpreting analytics, I’ve jumped in the matrix with both feet and learned to swim.

Back in 2012, a coworker referred to me as a monarch when I absolutely ruled a tedious project, and the moniker has stuck. I have fully leaned into the concept and adopted it as part of my personal brand. It has driven me to be the best leader I can, and it still makes me laugh when colleagues curtsey or bow to me during meetings.

In my full-time position at ASU, I lend my social media expertise to the W. P. Carey School of Business and work closely with the Marketing & Communications office. I’m always looking for ways to help people understand marketing in the age of information.

  • Brian Coords

Brian Coords is a WordPress developer, writer, and instructor. He is the Technology Director at WordPress development agency HDC and he co-hosts a weekly WordPress development show called viewSource.

  • Art Enke

A digital marketing professional with 19 years of in-house and agency SEO experience. Art has lead multiple SEO teams and worked directly with Fortune-500 brands and high-growth accounts.

He co-founded a SaaS company (CORJL) in 2017 which is a templating platform for graphic designers that now has over 6 million users worldwide.

“This is a happy place; little squirrels live here and play.”
