Jewel started building websites going back to the mid-2000s, discovered WordPress around 2010 and never looked back. Her background before moving into the technical realm was in art and education. She has equal parts passion for content, SEO, optimization, design, and code because of an insatiable curiosity to learn “all the things.” She also feels a strong sense of responsibility to do her part to make the world a better place, and making the web more accessible is part of that mission.
She designs and builds websites in WordPress as well as provides ongoing technical and marketing/SEO support for private clients and for RadiateWP. Her day job is Web Administrator for ASU Library. She currently lives in Tempe, AZ with her husband, their 2 cats and a German Shedder.
