Call for Volunteers at WordCamp Phoenix 2019

From the speakers, to lead organizers, to the people helping in the Happiness Desk, volunteers are what make a WordCamp idea become a WordCamp reality. There are no special requirements to volunteer and the only thing you need is to dedicate some of your time at the Camp to help out. I’d like to share with you why I decided to start volunteering at WordCamps.

In the past, I had attended many WordCamps across the globe as a sponsor and I was always in amazement at how wonderfully put together by these groups of volunteers each WordCamp was. I volunteered for the first time at WordCamp Phoenix and enjoyed every minute of being able to give back to the WordCamps I learned so much at. I am now the Volunteer Wrangler for WordCamp Phoenix 2019 and would be delighted to have you help out where you can.

If you’d like to join our awesome team and help make WordCamp Phoenix 2019 happen please fill out the form:

If you have a special skill set (such as photography) or have additional needs (such as needing to sit rather than stand) please let us know.

Our goal is to finalize a list of volunteers by mid-January but may go in to February depending on the amount of applicants. If you need to adjust your volunteer application please let us know as quickly as possible. Remember, volunteering is not an opportunity to promote your business however, you are free to do so when not volunteering. In return for volunteering, we’ll be waiving your admission for the WordCamp weekend if you volunteer for a full day (can be broken up over both days) and have special volunteer only swag.
