By 18, he had a handful of clients running on his custom php cms.  One look at WordPress (yes, version 1) and he migrated his clients and never looked back. Today, Jeremy is a full time entrepreneur and does more business development than web development, but still spends about 50 hours a month on WordPress sites developing themes on the Genesis framework.
